The Ted Yoder Band comes to Riverton NJ for an evening of amazing music: emotional compositions and covers on hammered dulcimer, marimba, and percussion. Ted Yoder, along with Doug and Sarah Haag, bring world-class music to audiences in intimate settings filled with connection and laughter. This is a one-of-a-kind show you don’t want to miss.
ARTIST BIOS Ted Yoder is the perfect musician for the 21st century; his passionate playing style and easy-going personality make him a natural live and online star. Why? Because until you hear Ted Yoder, it’s impossible to imagine that one wooden stringed instrument can sound like an entire rock band or a whole symphony orchestra all in one. A national champion and sure virtuoso labeled “the Bela Fleck of the hammered dulcimer”.
Doug and Sarah Haag met while in high school at a music competition. Now married, these two march to the beat of their own drum. Doug lays down the groove with his cajon (a strikingly simple wooden box), ocean drum, and arsenal of shakers while Sarah’s marimba adds melodic color and pure fun to their shows.
