Fan Friday #17 Norwegian Wood

Happy Friday everyone!
I had fun working out this version of Norwegian Wood. I have played it live for a year or two but have wanted to tweak it a bit. I changed it so that now I am playing it in the key the Beatles originally performed it in. I'm really enjoying the improvements to the arrangement and think you'll like hearing this great song on the Hammered Dulcimer.

Loved this version! And I really enjoyed the lighting outside - it gave me a whole new vision of the motion of the hammers. The valley chords (I think that's what you called them) were great. Thanks for another fabulous Fan Friday!

Loved the Woods, Ted. Please put this on the next album. Valley chords - like a double stop? Backlighting made it harder to see you and the HD on my screen, but I read Sue above didn't have that issue. Keep it up.

Ted! That was beautiful! I really love all the Beatles songs you do.(Maybe an instructional Beatles songs video from you one day?)By the way, Donna's voice is lovely. Thanks to both of you for taking the time to do a video for us each week.

Thank you Sue and Dan, it's always a pleasure to bring these to you. Laurel, the valley chords are not double stops. Right where the bass string crosses over and meets the treble string, that's the valley and when you strike it there you get both strings at the same time. That's your 5th and then if you hit a 3rd note with your left hand, you can get a tri tone chord. :) It's a really great sound. Melody, I'll keep that in mind. Please remind me some time in the future about the instructional video. And thanks for your gratefulness, it's our pleasure to be with you. :)
