Heart In A Padded Envelope

So Ted crept into the bedroom after 4 AM and I wondered what to expect when he woke up this morning. Would he be discouraged by the long hours and the perfection required by bare audio files? Would he be too weary to move before 10 AM? Too tired to appreciate the music that he worked so many hours to produce?
What I saw when Ted got up (and it was hours before 10!) was a Christmas morning grin and a bounce in his step that said, "Triumph!" He quickly loaded MP3's onto my computer and smiled confidently.
Now the kids and I get to go about our tasks today and listen to the firstfruits of his labor while he is off working his day job and running errands. (sigh) I wish you all could join us, it's a moment to relish!  This week has been emotionally packed and full of hard work, but boy is it worth it, sitting here listening to the new music and knowing that you all will hear it too in just a few weeks.
One of the things Ted carried out the door this morning was an ordinary yellow padded envelope. It probably will never attract any special attention from the postman or the neighbors. I'm sure the TN zip code sees such envelopes all the time. To us this envelope holds many things- immediate dreams for the Songs From Walnut Valley CD and for Ted's continuing future in music, hopes that we have more opportunities to send you albums like this and expectation that God will prosper what we put our hands to. So fly to Nashville little package and show us what totally believable and great things God can do with a heart in a padded envelope!

such an important little padded envelope and it may be unimportant and go unnoticed by many people but it will not nor has not been unnoticed by the One who can make all things possible. =) may it fly with importance and annointing.
