Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow...

...at least it supposed to later on today. :) I see that those of you in the deep South have already been dumped on. The kids are just a bit jealous that those of you living in Georgia and Florida beat us to the punch!

Good morning dear friends and Ted Heads!

Did you all enjoy your Thanksgiving holiday? We have soaked up a relaxed beginning of the week with lots of naps and Monday night football, resting up before Ted heads to St. Louis for the weekend. Any of you want to tag along? If you live in St Louis you can turn on your TV on Friday morning and watch Ted play a song on the Fox Morning Show... cool huh?

Then, with your appetite primed for Christmas music, come to The London Tea Room from 7-9 PM Friday evening. Ted will be playing a bunch of Christmas songs for you, so come, take a break from shopping for a while, have a scone and something hot to drink and treat yourself to an evening off. They are only charging $4 at the door so you'll have plenty of cash to get some goodies to take home for the family too. Should be lots of fun! I am still trying to figure out a way for Ted to transport a steaming Nutella Mocha to me... (drooling!)

Then Saturday we have a show for all the Indiana folks who have probably already been snowed on in the southern parts of the state! Come to Otterbein, IN for the concert series held at the Otterbein UMC. I expect a cozy evening of music and laughter for all, so come out to
2901 W 200 N, Greenfield, IN 46140 at 7PM and join us!

Just as an FYI, Ted will have discounted sets of CDs available at any of his shows this month so that you can also pick up a bunch of CDs for gift giving. They make great hostess gifts and are easy to pass along to your pastor, neighbor or mailman...whoever you want to spread a little Merry Christmas to this season! We know someone last year who purchased some to give to her doctor as a little holiday gift. Mark your calendars to come enjoy a concert and check some gift purchases off your list at the same time.

Then Sunday afternoon you can head over to Richmond, IN, which is Rich Mullins' hometown, for what should be an afternoon of beauty and fun. Ted will be appearing at the Gennett Mansion from 2-5. $10 gets you in the door of this gorgeous mansion and the hosts, Bob and Donna Geddes, always serve wonderful complimentary beverages like tea and coffee so you can rest for a few hours and take in lots of holiday music. Fitting for a Sunday afternoon, don'tcha think? The Sweet Sounds of Starr Valley, a local dulcimer club, will be opening the concert so you're going to get lots of bang for your buck!

I have to send out a quick thanks to the Kidwells who came out to Ted's performance at Beasley's Orchard last weekend! The kids and I were all sad that we missed you. The story of your service as a Marine and who it has made you have deeply impacted all of us and we are so grateful for you. Thank you for sharing your time and story with us! Also greetings to my new friends from First Baptist Church in South Bend... I loved my first "hanging of the greens" experience! Thanks for sharing your tradition with me! I'd love to come again next year. ;-)

As you all prepare for the Christmas season we wish you all peace,
Donna, Ted and the kids

P.S. Ted stayed up late last week putting extra goodies in the Players Corner of our store, so if you have a spouse or loved one who would enjoy gifts to help them in their musical journey, check that out quickly. There are instructional books, music stands and exotic hammers just waiting for you there! This week we also added discounted 5 and 10 packs of CDs for gift giving... make your life easy and let us ship your shopping to you this week!
