Written for a frosty day.

I was supposed to be putting the kids to bed but as I walked upstairs I had in my hand these new hammers from Bob Bedard that he just sent me. That and my dulcimer is right in my bedroom so let's just say I got distracted.

We were in the middle of some really rough snow and cold and the two windows up in my office/bedroom were totally frosted over with these beautiful designs of snowflakes and ice. This little song just popped out as I noodled around a bit and I thought it reminded me of the cold, ice, snow, and games that the family and I were playing while we were snowed in.

Grab a cup of coffee or hot chocolate and join me in my messy bedroom.

Ted, Enjoyed that very much, we had frost on the "inside" of the windows mon.&tues & that sounded just like how the frost forms on the windows!! Pretty cool even w/the little mistakes, but it sounded great! I know what you mean, i get side-tracked too, but i never can seem to come up w/a second part to songs, i do not know why. Thank you for posting this! I wish you well on you all's trip, god bless you & your family.

Ted, I loved this song - we in Michigan saw the swirling snow and your music made it all have a magical appearance in my mind. I particularly love the control you have with your sound - the way the sound gets softer and softer while maintaining the speed of the notes - not easy to do, but you made it look easy! May God richly bless you and your family!
